Lu Deng is an interdisciplinary artist, designer, and researcher based in London.
Using poetic storytelling and speculative fiction, her practice critically explores the intersectional spaces between technologies, ecology and the constitution of the human. She is interested in how values, meanings and futures are constructed and their implications, and how art practice can challenge the existing power relationships and create new narratives.
Her work has been exhibited in Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria. She has been artist in residence at SIM in Reykjavik, Iceland, and holds an MA in Interaction Design from University of the Arts London and a BSc in Architectural Design from Politecnico di Milano.
